Jellybean Convicts

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have to admit I do like jellybean convicts, cool pics !

Yeah - they are cute aren't they? Otherwise I wouldn't have them... Perfect compromise - don't have to worry about giving a pair of breeder convicts a whole tank. LOL

What like this? Btw this fish was born to 2 regular convicts and all its siblings were too.It doesn't take a genius to work out how jellybeans came about.A freak couple of balloon pink con fry then bred on and sold as hybrids of parrot becuase they slightly resemble little parrots.

I've heard this too, but have never experienced any myself(well over 20 batches of fry from 5 diff pair). I have a bloodparrot/reddevil mix, she spawned with a male black convict 3 times, eggs never hatched though. He died after the third time, he was an old fella.

Really cool; i have three jelly bean parrots; i think they're the best fish that i ever had and i have been keeping fish since i was 12yrs old. But, i probably never would have bought them if i knew how they get their tails removed. Oh well.

By the way, my jelly beans have bred for three times now, but the eggs always becomes fuzzy. My wife hates it that the eggs can't hatch. Do you or anyone else know how i can hatch them out? Thanx for any help.
