What do you think about Jeremy Lin? Is he the real deal?
He's been lighting it up for the NY Knicks recently. It's only been 3 games, but he's already had 25 points vs. the Nets (coming off the bench), 28 vs. the Jazz and 23 vs. the Wizards.
Even if you don't think he'll pan out to be a star, his story is amazing. He's smaller than most guards, from Harvard, cut by 2 teams (the Warriors and Rockets) and Asian American. Most teams didn't really give him a chance and he went undrafted. He was sent to the Development League by the Knicks earlier this year and he's been sleeping on his brother's sofa for the past few weeks. If he didn't have these breakout games, he might've been out of the NBA already, but instead he's being talked about like a real potential NBA star.
Here's a hilarious Chinese language news video about J. Lin. Wait for the Bruce Lee noises -- it's worth it!
