has anyone seen this footage? i saw a brief clip of it he caught a brand new species of shark but i didnt catch where he was fishing at.

I think I have a new species of shark too. Check out my site under catsharks at the bottom of the page. I was speaking to a PHD that did taxonomic work with the genus and got an inconclusive answer.

I think you guys are talking about the Glyphis shark he caught in australia. Similar to the bullshark and endangered, its almost impossible for noobies to tell the difference between bull and glyphis. Season 4 episode 8 of the river monsters series

at the end of the show he caught a wing head shark((Eusphyra blochii). from what I understand its never been photographed alive before. Its related to the hammer head family but has its own genus. I kind of reminds me of bonnet with a giant cephalofoil.
