Jericho is the one baby I chose to keep when my then-breeding-pair of creamsicle midas spawned successfully, before they decided to divorce a month or two later. I culled most of the spawn - it was HUGE - but kept about a dozen in the 8ft tank to let them grow out and see what they would do. I had hoped to get another pretty creamsicle/piebald midas out of the group, but all they ever did was turn orange. Still, I felt I should keep one of them since it was a midas I "made", given how many midas I've kept over the years (many "just" solid orange) that were all purchased as juveniles. So after shuffling tanks finally last weekend, this guy was moved into my 120gal to grow up and live out his days. After a few days of hiding, he's finally settled in and now comes to say hi when I get close. His dad is still in one of my 6ft tanks in another room.
