In The Little Town Of Bedrock!
Ok so i really love the look of jewels and i want to get one so i was thinking put it in one of my spare 10 gallons. It would be by itself other then maybe a few cories does that sound do able and if it is, is there anyway i could throw some tiger barbs in there with it as well?

Thanks,
Spencer

You started with, it will be by itself(which is actually too small of a tank), to just add a couple of this and that. The quick answer, NO!

He's an answer for you ziggy2, I had no idea if the tank was to small or not kinda why i asked...make sense? I didn't say i was deffenitly adding any fish other then the jewel. I said "maybe a few cories does that sound do able and if it is, is there anyway i could throw some tiger barbs in there with it as well?" so why don't you calm down. I never said i was going to no matter what anyone said or anything like that. I asked a simple question, yes or no question; there was no need for you to go out and say what you said.

Also incase theres more then 1 type of jewel with that first letter and other first letter i found the scientific name, Hemichromis Bimaculatus.

Anyways...any other opinions id like to hear so i don't have to base my decision of a answer.

Thanks,
Spencer

Jewels claim a large territory for their size. Any tank mates in a 10 will get bullied. Plus they never color up in small tanks. They look dull and brown like a common minnow if kept unhappy
