Jewel babies

Bought two 2" jewels from my lfs a few weeks ago. Love the little bastards. Threw the two in with two almost 11 inch oscars, a 2 or 3 inch convict a one inch cory and a giant pleco.

Came home from work today to a pit of wrigglers. If they live they are champs. If not I'm sure I'll see more later. Still excited to see it.

The convict laid eggs on my driftwood too but without a male I'm sure they will not hatch.

Free swimming today

Still got at least 75 swimming around.the parents are super protective. They have my 11 inch oscars hemmed into half the tank or less. I put some visual barriers so a lot of the chasing stopped.

Still afraid of cleaning the corner they are in. Water specs are clean and clear still so I'll wait a few more days and see.

They are about a quarter inch now and showing the black stripe now. Anyone in the area want one in a few months, free to a good home.
