jewel chiclid behaviour help

one of my jewel chiclid(which was introduced to the tank earlier) keeps flaring its fins and keeps going circles around one of my other jewel chiclid(introduced it today) is this some pecking order establishment.
till now hasn't nipped at the new one but keeps chasing it around
do i have to separate them

If the tank isn't big enough and they can't get away from each other you might have a problem. I would keep your eye on them and if you see missing fins or scales you should separate them or put in a divider.

I was given a jewel 2day. it's still really small (approx 1.5cm). I'm having trouble finding info on them. I have put it in a 4ft along with the resident angels (all of various sizes) also in there, there are 2 puffers of medium size (1 x spotted & 1 x fig. 8) and they all seem happy enough. How ever any info on the jewel would be most welcome.

but are very very aggressive
normally wouldn't tolerate other fish as they grow
max growth is 6"
will eat anything
