Hi everyone, i just have a question on my jewel fry that i have just pulled from the parents. i would of liked to keep them in there but they live with 3 other convicts and their numbers where dropping. i managed to save about 11 to 13 of them, now i don't know what to do from here.

the fry live in a 18L tank with no substrate and soft filtration. please help?

They'll do fine in the small tank for now. Even a basic sponge filter will be good. Go pick up some hikari first bites. Feed them directly with a turkey baster. When they get a little bit bigger I'd start feeding them bloodworms or dried shrimp.

I agree with Etan. Make sure you keep an eye on your water parameters though. You'll probably want to do frequent water changes. The left over food can cause water parameters to change pretty quick if you don't keep an eye on it. Keep an eye on craigs list. I've found AC110's for $20 multiple times. I buy them everytime I see them that low, even if I don't need them. To good of a deal to pass up.
