i was wondering why these fish are so aggresive and does anyone have pics of theirs mine has killed all tank mates and now is in a quarintine tank why do these fish act so mean?

They are what they are. I have a couple pics of some of mine in my Photo Gallery. I just lost all but two about a month ago when a pair formed and killed all the others in the tank. I now have about 150 fry and another batch on the way. They are definately a tough character for their size but a really nice looking fish when they are in breeding dress.
they are pretty aggressive for their size. But what kind of tankmates has it killed, and what size tank? They are not that aggressive compared to quite a few other truly aggressive cichlids
mine has just gone on a rampage and the ones it has killed have been african cichlids assorted ones from my local fish store mine i guess is just phsyco he hits the glass constantly
I actually have had no problems with my breeding pair of jewels. They are my oddballs in my 125g SA/CA tank because the wife broke their 30g, they seem to get along fine with everyone and have been successful breeders. I actually just had them hatch a batch of fry this past weekend...now I have to figure out what to do with them all, lol!
