my jewel cichlids layed eggs 2 days ago, and so far only like 2 or 3 are white. it looks like there are about 150-200 eggs. i am so excited
i have one question though. how long can the parents be kept with the fry before the adults start to attack and feast on their young? thanks in advance for any help that is offered.

Jewel's are one of my all time favorit cichlids! They have such personality, very beautiful, and man are they powerful for their size simply amazing fish. Well I know African's are good parents too so I would think at least a month or so
