Hello! Yesterday I woke up to find my jewels were laying eggs. I have noticed that there are less now than there were when she was done and I've seen her eat a few. What's going on? should I expect babies? And if so, how long does it take fo rthe fry to hatch? I have 3 pictures, the first is when I first found her with her eggs, the second is when she was finished and the third is this morning, where you can see there are less eggs. THANKS!

Thanks, but I'm wondering, Is anyone able to tell me if they look fertile? How can you tell? Do they have to have a black dot or is it too soon? It's been about 30 hours since the eggs were laid.

Oh, and one more thing...Should I move them? They are in my large community tank. Or is it best at this point to take out the tank mates? I only have a few fish in here with them right now...

if they are fertile they will be brown if not the will be white and yes give them they own tank.
