Those jewels are awesome, I need to get some more some day if I ever get the room. I am too focused on their bigger cousins, the frempongis. But the smaller jewels are more apt to breed, and show that bright red everywhere when in the mood. Brilliant!

I love jewl cichlids. I always had problems with aggression between mine.

Very Nice .... wish i cud get mine to color up like urs got ne tips??? idk wut species mine are since they are wild caught and it is quite hard distiguishing the different species of jewels. they seem quite happy and have plumped up a bit since they no longer have to forrage for food.
