Hey guys, came into the office today and looked in the tank here...a TON of little fry swimming in the corner with a female protecting them.
This tank has only been set up for 2 months, so I'm a little suprised.
I netted about half the fry and placed them in one of those Lee's Breeding Nets the hang on the side of the tank. The rest I've left with the female. The male looks after them as well when the female leaves that corner of the tank.
I fed the female, and she chewed the food, spit it out, and the fry ate what she spit out.
I'm pretty new to tanks and fish, so any tips/advice would be appreciated.
I'm a little concerned about the tankmates, though. 1 x 3" Oscar, 2 x 4" Severum.
