i have accuquired another orante bichir today about 6cm only. I noticed that some of his dorsal fins are joined together instead of being clearly divided. Is this a common sign in young bichir? I went back to ask the shopkeeper and he said that the fins will eventually be divided when they are older. Is this true? though i find it hard to believe and swear never to buy from that shop again
