Joining two 5' 120g length wise

It could be done. Some kind of reinforcing frame would be needed where the joints are and something to span the top from front to back also in the middle would be needed. Silicone by itself wouldn't be strong enough on the upright pieces.

I am planning on putting it in a wall so I was thinking 2 windows so you couldnt see the front joint. I figured I would use a piece of glass for the seams. Cut 3 pieces of glass. 2 would be the height of the tank and 1 for the bottom. Maybe 3-4 inches wide and silicone it to the inside to kindof mend the glass together?

If its going in a wall with only a veiwing window for each side, then why not just keep it simple and use the 2 tanks.

You could decorate them alike and still have the same effect. But with much less worries or work.

just my .02

That could work if your joint seam pieces are thick enough and you put a cross brace at the top.
