Fortunately, I was able to secure 6 F1 Sajicas from a local breeder (very exciting). Based on my current observations, it looks as if I have 3M and 3F, therefore I certainly lucked out; at least for the time being. They’re all around 1.5”-2” and already starting to show some nice coloration, especially the dominant male.
I look forward to continuing this thread as they grow, mature and eventually pair up. The plan is to thin the beard as pairs begin to take shape. Below, I’ve provided a couple of pictures (including the dominant male). Thanks again for all of your advice on those who’ve kept these amazing little fish.
