Actually reptile carpet is a pretty awful choice. The woven fibers can be ingested or can get caught on the toes/claws which can cut off circulation. Not good. Plus it's a breeding ground for bacteria. I've been keeping leopard geckos on a sand/soil mixture for 18 years and I've never had an issue. A healthy leopard gecko has no problem passing sand.
 
huge tank for a small lizard. im sure he is very happy in it considering most people keep them in 10gs. get him a wife lol

I wonder how animals survive in the wild without man taking care of them..

I think we need to start an Environmentalist Group to run out and save all the wild leopard geckos by removing all the sand in their natural habitats so they can survive

Petco is having its $1 a Gallon Sale... $40 for a Tank they Sale for $109...and I can't DIY a tank that size for Less. I am gonna get a Background from Universal Habit for more ledges for it to crawl on.

Payday I am gonna get More
