Glad to see that Junior's mate did the trick for Juggernaut Ken. Congrats!! Atleast something came out good from his passing, RIP. Looks like she went through a color morph to and went more orange.
No plans for fry yet. I have a couple friends who are getting some. But I am gonna growthem out a couple inches.
Juggernaut is still in the tank, he was just not in this photo. I am just really happy it was not him not fertilizing eggs.
Sorry to bump an old thread Ken but my two midas are doing great, thanks again. One's yellow and the larger one is more orange, I use a plant light. I noticed that Juggernaut looked more yellow when he was younger, it could be the video, do you think mine will change? These are the first midas that I've had, I've always had midevils (probably). I've tried different foods but the only thing that they seem to like are algae disks. When do they usually develop the nuchal hump, I had one before that got a small one when she laid eggs. How can I tell what sex they are, they're about 4"-5" now. I don't mean to be a bother but I'm still excited about them. Thanks again.
