So I am having Julidochromis Transcriptus a species only tank . The good news is that they have been successfully breeding. I am not doing any 'special' care for the fry and leaving to natural way of survival. I am only ensuring that they are not disturbed during water changes and also they get timely food and water quality is maintained. My setup is simple and minimum, just having sand and rocks to have enough hiding places for Julies.
Currently I am having more than 25 fry in my tank, and I can already see the next batch of fry coming! The fry also is growing quite nicely, after a few days they are coming out from the hiding spaces and eating food outside.
I think I will have to start giving away some of the Julie babies once they are big enough, I will run out of space if this continues..
