They keep hitting the tank bracing, that's the reason for the damaged snouts, they see a droplet of water and they go in full steam and hut the bracing.
As of now, the bagarius haven't ever done anything to the Dorado, nor the other way around, that's may be because I keep all of em well fed, and the bagarius even when they were with the tors, never did anything to the tors, although the brown bagarius till date has eaten a same sized Lapradei and a cichla
