Hope everyone is doing well!
Just got a pair of jumbo gulpers 10"!
They are cruising fine with my 2 smaller 6" gulpers I'm happy to report showing no signs of aggression.
I have all of them swimming against a eheim streamon 5000 powerhead, they love the powerhead so much I am thinking to add a stronger powerhead. What does everyone think about powerheads and how strong for a group of 4 gulpers?

Nice. Good to hear of the new interesting and unusual pickup. I can't say I've noted mine ever liked the current but I have never had a powerhead in with them, only the filter pump output. I never thought gulpers liked current given how clumsily overall they swim but I am open to learn more from you and anyone else. Mine sometimes like swimming in one spot but this is done against a mild current and the swimming looks leisurely... and wobbly as usual :)

I didn't think they liked current either.
The 2 smaller ones started swimming right away with the 2 larger ones.
I'm feeling pretty sure they love the powerhead, it moved in another direction by mistake in front of the log and all 4 just swam around the tank and ended up swimming against the powerhead again diagonally.

I would hate to have to feed them live food. I tried earthworms and strips of tilapia tied to powerhead but they have shown no interest.
Give it time. Should eventually take some prepared foods.

Either they are still settling or/and they are not familiar with these types of feed. Is it known what they had been fed before?

I personally would never give them live feeders.

They can fast fine just like any catfish. MIA koltsixx koltsixx reported his abstained from feed for 6 months. My only survivor has gone through several months too, perhaps 3-4, when it was supposedly ill.
