how long does it take them to get that big

It took my last pleco 1 year to reach 16", and at 3 years he was 18". But the big one we had was 22" at 11 years, but hit around 20" in 4 years.

Every fish store has them, you just have to put some time and effort into them and they will grow really big.

just keep them really well fed, it'll make a happy healthy pleco, more vibrant colours, and will grow quicker obv!!
