ino arowanas are jumpers but shud i be worried in any way of mine jumping at around 7 maybe 8 inches if tht hes only really jst bin doing tht i av seen n heard of wen he hits lid jst dont want him get hurt

Like he said pantha make sure you have a very secure lid, arowana hunt for there prey in the wild by jumping out of the water onto low branchs of trees and such, is he feeding ok??
and regarding tank size its will need a 6footer at least when adult.
Thanxs fartolivley for tht Ino 6ft atleast wen he's a adult he's in a 4.5ftx2ftx2ft at mo but all ready onto my 6ftx3.5x2ft shud av soon...I av put couple of slightly heavy things onto incase but still thought ask be on safe side.

Wot r mp n I cnt c there being a prob getting crickets pritty easy jst thought stay away with anything live so the wife Cn feed him y I'm at work....y r blood worm no gud wot bout the krill I've jst bin going of wot my local aquarium says till he got bigger then try him with most things from there no worrie of him chocking or owt then is there.

The post is crap, many here won't even try to give an answer to someone that can't take the time to post legibly. BTW a silver aro needs more then a 6 foot tank as an adult, please stop posting bad advise.
Well wot size would you say? Most people I've had answers from say 6foot be fine for a adult aro if on its own....aslong bigger then 2ft wide should be good.
