Well it finally happened, i was cleaning my tank and my silver arowana thought it would be a good ideqa to explore the outside world. needless to say he was wrong after a couple tense moments he is back in the tank and swimming, (stressed) but swimming, i added aquarium salt and a dose of stress coat. Are there any other suggestions as to what i should be doing? any help is greatly appreciated

i will move this to the aro section for you.

basically keep an eye on the aro, turn off the light and keep additional stress to a minimum and hope its ok.
if its not damaged externally there is nothing much more you can do.

that's it ;)

If he's swimming normally :) think there's nopthing to worry about :) just don't leave any gap on the tank cover. i noticed silvers seem to like to jump more than asian aros.

Trust me i have learned my lesson, as i do my weekly water changes i also try to clean any alge at the same time. This time i had the water level down and was cleaning one side, as i closed the lid and went to the other side of the tank he made his move, opening the lid on his way out and i gotta say i was very impressed at the distance he got, somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 feet. As of tody he is no worse for the wear, he has a few battle scars but is doing great and hungry as ever. Thanks to all who replyed to my little crisis it is appreciated.
