jumping cichla?

are juvenile cichla known to jump out of tanks without lids?

think so, my friend's kelberi jumped out of its tank one night when it was a fingerling. Yesterday when i was transfering my fish from my 150 to 240, one of my kelberi got spooked jumped out of the water onto my forearm and then flopped back into the tank. pretty epic.

definitely. virtually, any fish can jump. cichlid specis are especially notorious for that.
