I started to train one of my Red Oscar to jump out of the water to get his first piece of food every time I feed them. Should i keep this up or just stop it? Im only worried because i came from a arowana before this little guy.

Should be fine as long as your there when he decides to jump ;) you don't want to find him on the floor dried up , make sure that lids secure which I'm presuming is after the aro , you also run the risk of injury if he continues to jump he may hit the lid hard and break something

It is the good thing about Oscar or any fish to me.

My parrot when she was young jumps alot and high too.

I get her to jump out of the tank easily with live worms, but I have a net outside to catch her for the fun of seeing it.

Not like , after feeding, there's no way to close up the tank or you have to overflow your tank or anything.
