June 30 1908 Siberian explosion

Anyone else ever research this explosion? This is one of the most interesting things to me being the semi geek I am, plus a love of space.

Of course its still unknown what exactly caused the explosion. Just a random factoid to read about and discuss.

I think it was a meteorite, the lake cheko theory is interesting and makes sense.

Wow, such an interesting event and so little interest here. Lol

Airburst metorite. The explosion was exactly like an aerial atomic weapon explosion. They don't know for sure what caused it, but then again we don't know for sure how the sun works or what killed the dinosaurs.
