My 125 has once again become very gloomy, and it looks like a bacteria bloom to me. I treated the tank with the Jungle parasite meds 2 weeks ago because my Lap died, and my IT became sick, and I suspected internal parasites.
Anyways, a guy at my LFS said that the Jungle tablets that I used would have killed my beneficial bacteria. Is this true? My tank is so gloomy and I am frusterated. My parameters are Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 10ppm. This is pretty much what my parameters are every time I test them. I am positive it is not an algae bloom.
The tank is filtered with 2 Emperor 400s and an XP3. Around 10 days ago, I added another container of Seachem Matrix to the XP3, so it now has two containers of that stuff.
