jungle vals in a all male tank?

hi i really wanting to put some jungle vals in my 55g all male tank im starting its gona be peacocks n haps with a few mbuna do u think the vals will be ok or do u think the fish will destroy them

I had Vals in with my Tropheus and they picked them apart.

I had Giant Hygrophila in with Peacocks and they never touched them. It is a similar shape to Vals.
