Juniper as driftwood.

Just curious if anyone knows if I can use juniper as driftwood? More specifically alligator juniper. It is quite plentiful here in my neck of the woods and would love it if I would have easy access to a beautiful wood for my aquariums.

I don't think so based on the heavy amount of sap and resins.

Ya we have allot of similar here I wouldn't use it.
