Just ordered the book "Jurassic Fishes", got it for $46 shipped of amazon. Anyone else read this? Hope it is a good read, I'm tired of reading fish books and getting the same info in different format. I'll let ya know how it is once I get it!

Fantastic book...I own it myself, although I paid 100 (with shipping) lol. Be prepared though, it definitely follows the Japanese ethos of tank sizing, ie really small.

It quotes a 90cm Heterotis niloticus needing a 90-120cm tank...

Sort of confusing layout, it presents all the families of Osteoglossimorpha (knives, arowanas, mormyrids, etc), followed by their care...then give you the "other" primitive fish (lungs, rays, sturgeon, bichirs, etc) and care.

Awesome pick up, especially as it's out of print.

I have had it for some years now and it is one of my favorite books. You can also look for,'The manual of Tank Busters',another book that is devoted to big fish.
