Right now ive got the temp @ 80 and ive treated the tank with salt (1 rounded tablespoon per 5 gallons). What else can I do.

Try to go at least 85, preferably 86. Lower your tank water and add an airstone. These guys like alot of dissolved O2, and the higher the temp, the less oxygen the water can hold.

Thanks for the advise already got an airstone in there.

How long can iexspect to see a change? He doesnt have it bad, just a few specks.
