I am really thinking about getting a juruense catfish. I love the looks of them. Are they hardy like a TSN and RTC? I've kept both of them successfully. I currently have about a 6'' tiger shovel nose now. I would be placing the juruense in with the TSN. The Juruense I have an eye on is 4''.
What is the care needed for these guys? Any tips? And any pictures of your jurs would be great.

Welcome to the MFK!

I'd say jurs are reasonably hardy. Not as hardy as RTC but they are not snowflakes.

Have you exhausted readily available data and care sheets for juruense? It'd make no sense to repeat what's already a common knowledge about them. I'll fetch some links for you:

WOW!!! Some great information there. Will spend the next few days going over all of it.Def want to make sure I get acquainted with this species before I get one.
Your jurus are very pretty. They all look great!
