Wrong section but the jurupari are also known as earth eaters because they sift through the bottom for food. You could get more as I have seen them in groups or probably any S.A.cichlid that is not aggressive because most earth eaters are peaceful.

Almost any non-aggressive fish will work. Those fish arent aggressive and they get very long "trailers" on theyre dorsal and anal fins so no "fin nippers". Some pet stores will sell a fish deemed "community" and say its not aggressive but some of these "community" fish are fin nippers and are semi-aggressive, eg.,loaches, red tail sharks, dwarf gourami.etc.
Corydoras, silver dollars(when larger), Danios, Angelfish.

yeah i see them at like my LFS but they tell me they are aggressive and will fight
so the smaller species like saxatilis family pikes, salvinni, firemouth, chocolate, or EBJD will still work right??
