Thanks for the feedback guys. That's actually a braided hose for the fin. Tha catfish is cool!!! Blending the two images together like that takes a lot of work.

I used carbon fiber for the skin, CDs for the scales, camera lense for the eye, sheild for the gill plates, brake disc and a gear for the fin joint, shoulder armor for the head plates, fishing rod for the barbel, and a kife blade for the loser jaw.
