Just a couple 18"of Umbee's

No way... those are red belly piranha. Is that a public aquarium? Very impressive umbee though. Looks like he's got some age to him

These are all in about a 6000 gallon at The Henry Doorly Zoo. I have pictures of the Umbee a when they were much smaller and that wasn't that long ago, I will try and find some. I had the impression that those are RBP because of the musculature of the jaw and the scales I asked one of the zoo staff, and he repeatedly insisted they are juvenile pacu. There are adult pacu in there the size of man hole covers.

On a side note I know that Jeff Rapps has sent some fish to the Zoo because I when placed an order and in the past and told him the city and zip he said something to the effect that he had just sent a large shipment to the Zoo just the day before.

In his defense, in all likelihood that's what the sign says. It also mentions other fish that aren't in there. Everywhere else they are exceptionally good at correctly tagging species but the sign on this tank is goofy.
