hi hope all are well

i recently put some fish on hold and will be picking them up soon. but i theink my snakehead might get attcked by a larger fish. here are the sizes from the website i am ordering from

Birchir (senegal) 8-10cm
Lima shovelnose 12-15cm
Datnoid (indo) 7-8cm
Black Ghost Knife fish 8-10cm
Rainbow snakehead 5-6 cm

should i put my snakehead in another tank to grow him on and then put him in with the others? these fish will NOT be housed together for life.

also, what is the best food to use for quickly bulking up a fish?

I would keep him seperated and probably for life. Frozen bloodworms and beefheart are good for bulking up fish.

is there anything i can do do give him cover so big fishes cant get in but the snakehead can?

The fish food I use to grow breeders is: (you will have to work out the exact recipe yourself because all fish are different)
bananas, fish oil, carrot, shell-on shrimp (fresh!), spirulina powder, multi-vitamin. That's all I use, but I'm sure you could add your own things, blend them together, mix it with some unflavored gelatin and stick it in the fridge. VOILA, you have nasty fish jello cubes.

is there not like a "super food" that'll bulk em up real quick? like mealworms or silversides or something.

would a coconut shell with a hole in it be O.K for the snakehead? how about an upturned flowerpot?

i have a mature red devil in a 90g is there anything i can put in with him.hes very aggressive even tries to bite whenever i put my hand in the tank.

however i have found a snakehead for sale at about 10cm so that is fine.

so these to problems are solved as i dont need 2 bulk any fish up now, thanks for the help.

just one more question, i will now be getting the snakehead at a different time, will any of the other fish that i have be territorial to him and not let him in, or will they bully him?

i cant believe that havent banned snakeheads all over... i wouldnt worry about anything with the snakehead he will outgrow and destroy everything.... keep them seperated!
