hes about 8 to ten maybe i guess. all he does is hide and i never see him eat. i know he must but it guess its late at night when its really dark

When they get bigger they will come it all the time

Very nice eel and tank set up! Try training him to eat night crawler's. I grew 3 out to over 20" and they loved them after that they were at the front of the tank every time I was in the room. They would eat out of my hand more aggressive and friendly than any other fish I've had! Good luck and have fun
