My father-in-law is trying to build a tank out of stainless steel and glass. The front and back are glass with stainless borders and the sides are solid stainless. He has tried a couple of times to glue the glass to the stainless and it seems like one side of the tank is completely dry but the other side is still a little wet looking (AFTER 2 MONTHS)
The tank is only 3 foot long by 5 inches wide by 7 inches tall. It is a perfect fit for his windowsill.
My question is has anyone had any success with making a tank using stainless steel and if so what kind of waterproof epoxy did you use to get the tank to stick to itself?
Any help would be great.
