well not posted in a while and figured I would share a few updated pictures.
been having issues with my fry tank, I have ordered some sponge filter but they still haven't turned up. i have been playing with it for a couple of months to try and get it perfect for when my dovii finally get on the job (more on them in a mo). so i think my little internal finally given up so i built a home made filter and it seems to be doing the job. I keep dropping a few odd fry from the jags and JD to see how they get on. ill just add a sponge filter to it when they turn up and get rid of the internal.

its been running for two weeks so far and the tank has never been so clean.

well the male JD has been on the rampage again, through out some more babes then kick the female out so he doing it all him self.

BP is starting to colour change. I have never been into hybrids, and i brought this for the wife to brighten up her tank but i got a bit of a soft spot for it now. currently its darting from spot to spot avoiding the male JD. although he never seem to bother the BP, he just takes it out on a male convict i keep in there.
you can see the female JD hiding in the back ground, since this pic i have put some better hiding areas in that the male cant get in but the female and others can.

and to the Dovii's lol.
still have three, the smallest is in hiding and just darts out for food, its about 3-4" but alot smaller than the pair, at the moment its in there as a dither fish. the pair are doing what pairs do but not the deed yet, i was sure if it was because the tank was too open so i when out and got some rock and built a rocky area around the tubes i figured they would use. it seems to be working,as soon as i put them in they were sniffing around in all the new little knocks and crannies. it also provides a few small hides for the bristle nose and convicts floating around in there lol.

and lastly the pair
female

male

cheers for looking
