Where to start is the question?. I'm gona start from the beginning so its easier and more enjoyable for you all to read.
Well My parents have work off, so we all decided to change around the 360gallon tank. We took out about 50% of the water, gravel vaced it, took out all the plants and wood. We scrubbed it with an algee brush, cleaned the tank, and then we decided to take the tops off and start putting the wood and plants back in. Well My dads putting the plants in and everything is going fine, so I decide to help him out. I take a fake plant thats about 3ft long, reach my hand over the top of the tank when BAM!!!!! My 24" arowana jumps over my head ( so about 5 feet from the water level ( I'm 5'10 ) aims straight towards the tile floor and my mom, and smack. Lands perfectly on the tile ( 2" away form hitting my mom in the head
). Me and my dad grab a towel and dive on him so he dosn't get hurt. went back into the tank and bam hes fine. Than a lizard desides to chase a bug on the lids of my tank... Bad idea for the lizard, the other arowana desides to jump out of the tank and grab the lizard by the head and brings him back into the tank... I didn't think my fish would show so much interest with the lizard but everything in the tank went nuts trying to get catch this thing, And sad to say the lizard couldent escape the 2' beast.
End of day 1.
Today ( scared the crap outa me ).
Well i found tadpole eggs, and decided to hatch them ( this was yesterday ) I wake up this morning and find them all hatched and swimming around in my lil 2.5gallon tub. So I decide to search around my backyard for anything else that could have tadpoles in it, So i go next to our boat and was like " theres nothing over here.... and whadya know.. A black racer ( around 5' ) desides to leap off of some vines attachted to the wall of our house and lands on my foot... I freak out and try to catch him so my dog dosn't kill him. But nope hes to fast climbs back up into the vines (I hate snakes so i was freaked.). Than I find a bucket with all these leaves and water into it ( I look in to see if theres anything interesting in there and I see these black maggot looking things ). So i catch 2 of them with a net and am waiting to see what they are...
This week so far has been chaotic for me lol. just needed to type it all out.
