Just a pacu.... for size comparison

Zoo Miami's Amazon display.

This doesn't do the display animals justice. They are far bigger than this makes them look. These have to be 60+ lbs each. For rough comparison, I'm about 5'7". They should put something like this in pet stores selling these fish.

and is that yellow colored tail a tail of a red tailed cat?

6 young arapaima (four footers), one of the biggest silver arowana I've ever seen (and that's saying a LOT), red tails, tiger shovel noses, pacu, cichlids, rays and a mix of turtles. Everything is native Amazon based as far as decoration in the display.

Any Niger cats in there and do any of the silvers have drop eye?

Do you know the name of that plant that resembles Kelp ? It's pretty sweet.

I don't know much about them but that's a black pacu right? Do the more common red belly pacu's get as big?

These pacu look to be black/red hybrid. True blacks stay longer, with a more football shape. They have the body shape of a red, but the counter shading coloration of a black.
The silver aro has no drop eye at all.
