Just a question

All depends on how they build it, are they reliable and known to do plywood tanks, warranty? Sounds good to me.

I'd imagine half of that is labor

more like 50% profit, 25% labor and 25% materials. Pricing seems decent, but depends on what all is included. Is that $1,500 for a tank ready to fill with water or just for the wood working only and you still have to seal it and buy glass ?

That is about the price for a glass tank that size isn't it?
Why go plywood if you can get a glass tank for @ the same price?

glasscages has a similar size for 2300$ so still cheaper as I'm pretty sure going direct to marineland, etc would be more than the glasscages price.

Granted it might be a little more, but if I am paying $1500 for a plywood tank it better be twice the size of a glass tank at a similar price.
If it was 120 x 36 x 36 maybe I would think about it.

I would get it. $1500 for the stand and tank would be a good deal. That plywood tank would still be lighter then a all glass tank that size.

you and my definitions of "a little more" are quite different lol but I do get your point, by the time you hit 1500$ cost you'd expect a size jump on a ply tank, then again we did have a member do designer ply tanks that were show worthy. We'd really have to know more about what he gets for that 1500$ to give solid advice on what to do.

Amen,
If its one of the Furniture quality tanks that I have seen on here then, yeah that's a good deal.
Typically I would say that if you are going Plywood you are looking for the most bang for your buck. Meaning the most most gallons for the least $.
