Just a quick question...

I got my first ray on sat, after dealing with the sand being kicked up and finally settling, I have a crystal clear tank. My question is, so far the ray has not been to active.... he just hides under the sand, is this normal?

dont worry just give him some time to acclimate to the tank,a little patience and lots of feeding goes a long way.Keep up on the water changes and parameters.

guessing from your sig, you got yourself a retic ray??? If you do, then I would leave the tank dark for the next week or so. You need to get new rays acclimated and usually takes longer with retics. Hopefully it won't take long to eat either. good luck
