i realize the bare minimum for a asian arowana rtg is 6ft by 2 by 2 at a push ,but no one has specified, could u fit to 2 in to a a 6ft tank if not what do u reacon the bare minimum tank size is for 2 is
thanks

i reckon with asian aros you need width rather than height.
6x2x2 is a bare bare minimum depending on what size the aros are ofcourse.

you might wanna watch out with keeping only 2 asians in a tank, rule of thumb is 1, 3 or more. Where 5 or more is ideal... And I don't know if I'd keep 3 in there for life. you could get a way with it for a good time, but till full size i'm don't know...

I can't really comment on the asians since I can't own them. I do howver have my two silver aros 24" & 20" in a 180g 6' x 2' x 2' tank. The two aros this size work in this tank, however 3 at this size would be way to cramped. As stated above though a 180g would be good for a while if ya did go with 3.

Hahaha well I can't keep them either but I love them so much I read a lot about them... So I'm speaking more on personal research rather then experience... but silvers are known to be difficult to keep in pairs as well but definitely possible... I have seen (on the net in forums and such...) pairs of asains as well but like i said earlier I've read/heard that it's difficult and higher numbers are recommended. (but it goes with many aggressive species as well such a cichlids, piranha etc.)

Y a I took a chance and lucked out with my two silvers getting along. When I tried to put my smaller silver and black together It didn't work out. I'm hoping that eventually the three can co- exist together:)
