I am thinking of getting 1 of those peformed ponds fo my cellar(if i can find 1 to fols at least 300-400 gals)I was thinking about putting Cinde blocks all around the"pond" for support.Do you guys think this will work??:headbang2

maybe you can build an area that you can fill with dirt and put the pond there
it would look more natural

I don't see why it won't work, prefabricated ponds tend look crap with a nice surround then why not?

I would do a rubbermaid stock tank... Much higher quality, probably cheaper.

Preformed ponds are made of SUPER thin plastic. I would not trust one above ground. The rubbermaid stock tanks have drains near the bottom and they are maid to stand up by themselves. Plus, you do not have to get a rubbermaid brand tank, and I used to have a 768 gallon, 8ft in diameter, stock tank.

Stock tanks come in all sizes, shapes, and colors. Plus they are very durable.

I love this idea,do you know where i might be able to find one??With all that gallonage i could keep both my RTC's for a long while.

Tractor Supply carries many sizes and brands. Or check out a local farm/feed store. I have tossed this thought around before. I think it would be great.
