Just an active ray or it is a sign of a problem?

this guy just arrived yesterday. I find out he likes to climb the glass. Is it fine?
He is eating well but not much.

I have a ray that is a big time glass monkey! Some just like to do that I think. Give him a few days and I'm sure he'll be eating just fine. My glass climber eats more than his share. Great looking ray by the way!

Ok cool thanks..good to hear that. because he does it way too often, and my other rays are not like that. Hence im kinda concerned.

Not all of my rays do that. I have 8 rays right now and about 1/2 of them do that. Some constantly! lol

Yea he does that like every minutes. I was worried if there is something bothering him.

And hes makin so much noise doin that lol

Yes he is.. you can hear it in the video. He makes more noise than the spraybar

My female does it but only a few times a month, I have seen others do it a lot, I expect he might Settle in and do it less. Young rays seem to do it more than old. I have heard of rays surfing in the filter outlets / power heads but never seen mine do it.

Mine used to surf the filter outlet. Very cool to watch!! I might have a video of that somewhere.
