I need some help sexing these 2. I think the dempsey is female but the jag is changing its around 7-8 inch mark. Mean fish owns 1/2 the tank now. Pics suck need a better camera.

Thats what I thought but the jag is looseing the strips midway down its sides.

Thks my jag from what ive seen on the forum is way more black & yellowish then the common 1s. May be the others r in their breeding colors or mine has some cuban in it? Dont know but he/she is way prety and changes color big time with mood.

cool looking jag but female IMO based on the pattern and lack of purple sheen that males get
