Just ate Silver!

I cant believe i'm even posting this, but while I was dropping the prawns in the tank a silver charm that I have on a leather strap around my wrist dropped off into the tank, my little male pounced on it! So i'm thinking it wont taste like food so he will reject it, NO the f**king thing has gone!
I'm guessing there is not much I can do, what do you reckon his chances are of surviving after this?

how big is the silver charm or how much it weigh?

prob 10mm long x about 5mm deep etc, not sure about weight.
Would you believe it was a fish too.

Ooops. It'll probably just be a waiting game to see if it's small enough for them to pass.

The ray is prob about 7" disc, personally I dont hold out much hope.
Charm too big, ray too small

without being too negative i think you might loose this ray. Alot of wild caught rays swallow hooks and stop them eating. I suppose if it keeps eating your halfway there. all the best hope it passes.Keep us updated

You could put a bit of aquarium salt in the water to possibly help move things along, but you're still going to have to wait it out
