(just kidding)
I currently have about 20 species in my tanks, and
actually there are 6 on my short, wish list,
since I started keeping cichlids in 1960, I have kept a fairly good number over 50 years
but
I don't keep any soft water cichlids, because my water is hard.
Even though I'd love to try Uaru fernandezyepezi, I consider it impractical in my situation.
And I don't keep those that I don't have the tank space to keep for life,
ie P dovii, Boulengerochromis microlepis, Sargochromis sp, peacock bass and umbis (I might though, but only if I had 500+ gallon tanks)
Here are the others on my list I will get, if it becomes possible
the other Cuban, Nandopsis ramsdeni
the Iranian, Iranocichla hormuzensis
the African Heterochromis multidens
and 2 Central Americans, Theraps coeruleus and lentoginosus
There is another long list of maybe 300 species, but it is also impractical to even ponder with the amount of fishkeeping time I may, or may not have left.
Duanes, what haven't you kept? Lol
